It's apple picking time

There is that crisp Fall air around here today and my mind turned to apple picking time.  The only apples I pick are off of the store shelves but if I would ever get a grandkid, hint, hint I would take them apple picking.  So with that in mind I used Mary Brown's idea of a pumpkin made out of the Gift Bow Die and turned it into an apple.  We will making pumpkins at club next week, they are adorable too.

I used the Beautifully Baroque Embossing folder on the sections of the apple and Real Red Coredinations paper.  Lightly sanded and it looks like no apple I have ever seen.  Really made it special.  The leaves are punched from the Mosaic Punch and trimmed a bit and embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  It is all held together with Sticky Strip and really goes together quickly.  I think I will make these along with the pumpkins for my Thanksgiving table.
