Also inspired by Pam Morgan

I have lost track as to which number project this one is but I love how it turned out.  Pam used our new Coaster Board for her butterfly but I haven't gotten any of that, yet. I used Watercolor Paper instead, I love the texture it adds.  I also used the Pool Party Core'dinations cardstock as the card base and sanded the front and I really love how that turned out.  So without further ado or explanation, here it is.

Inspired by Pam Morgan

Pam Morgan demonstrate the first five of 25 projects at Convention.  25 years equals 25 projects, get it?  I was inspired by her card at Convention to give this a try.

This is really a pocket card, there is a window sheet on the front of a piece of Whisper White cardstock that I put Washi Tape around the edges to make a pocket.  I put the heart shapes in and then sealed the top with another piece of Washi Tape.  A couple of layers later and a card is born.

I dig you treat bag

The Stampin' Up! catalog has all sorts of kits to make treat bags and boxes.  I love giving someone just a little something in a really cute package.  I stamped the shovel in Versamark and then embossed in pewter, looks just like a real shovel.  I colored in the heart with the fine tip of a Real Red marker.  Just thought I would pop in and show you what I am working on for my mini Convention Open House, coming soon.

One more thing don't forget the Buy 3 Get One Free Designer Series Promotion is only valid till July 31st so contact me to order today!

I love Undefined!

SU! announced at Convention a new stamp line called "Undefined".. You carve you own stamps!  I know who awesome is that?  We all got a piece of the rubber to try our hand at this and this is what Kaylee and I came up with.  Well, wait, actually Kaylee came up with both ideas and just let me use one of them.  Hers is a Harry Potter saying and mine is the state of Ohio with a heart near where we live.  I just googled the image of the state on my phone and then traced it and transferred it to the piece of rubber.  It was way easier than I imagined.  I have already ordered the kit and the refill and so has Kaylee we have all sorts of ideas for making our own stamps!

Home again, ahhh.

I learned and was inspired by so many things at Convention that it may take me days to process it all.  I did come home and find out I needed to send a sympathy card and get well card to the same person.  When it rains it pours I guess.

The Hello card uses Venetian Romance DSP and the  sympathy card uses Soho Subway DSP.  The Buy 3 Get 1 free Promotion ends July 31st so don't miss out on getting your free pack of Designer Series Paper.  I think this year's DSP is one of the best selections we have ever had.

On our way home

We should be home tonight and probably will be exhausted.  Our suitcases will be stuffed with new swaps and free stuff and I hope to be able to show all of you soon,  I made these decorated candy bars for several people who organized swaps and gatherings and one for the Quality Control person at SU!
Yep, I get to meet a SU! employee that I have been emailing back and forth and actually got to talk to her on the phone once.  I love working with this company!  I used one of the new photopolymer stamp sets, a lot of fun with this set.

Actually it is really Day 1 of Convention but Day 2 of my trip to SLC.
This is a SWAP that uses new stuff from the upcoming Seasonal Catalog, that is what we used to call the Holiday Mini.  Well it's not so mini anymore, it is bursting with awesome stampin' stuff!  I love, love, love the Burlap Ribbon on this card.

I'm going to Convention!

By the time you read this I will be in Salt Lake City with Kaylee getting ready to go to the 25th Anniversary Convention of Stampin' Up!  I am so excited.  I thought I would share a photo a day of swaps and presents I made.  No explanations just photos.

This is for an organized SWAP I am in, when I get back home I will have 20 cards to show off and admire and copy and wonder, "How did they do that?"
