My Secret Stampin' Sister
My stampin' ladies and I have a Secret Stampin' Sister thing going and I am loving the cards I am getting. I just got my third card and haven't had a chance to photograph that one yet, it is getting dark so early so my photo booth, AKA my front porch table is in the dark. But here is card number two. October Paper Pumpkin
These kits never cease to amaze me and I am so glad I get them. I love the exclusive stamps you get in these kits and the fact that all I have to do is find my glue and I am ready to craft, no measuring, no thinking just crafting!
This month's kit is a 3-D kit and I love how it turned out. Pie happens to be the one dessert I can't say no too, I love pie.

Extra Special Birthday
A 30th birthday calls for an extra special card. It doesn't show well in the photo but the Basic Black is embossed with the Alphabet Embossing Folder and so is the Silver Foil Sheet. I used the new Blendabilites on the Silver Embossed letters and that gives it a really neat look.

Honor Flight
My uncle is going on an Honor Flight soon and his daughter told me they would have a mail call and asked if I would like to send a card for him to open during mail call. Of course I would. I had saved some photos of cards that had a patriotic theme and kind of put them all together and came up with this one. Used Pictograms "You're a Star" on the inside. Hope he has the time of his life, he deserves it. The base is a quarter sheet of Night of Navy with Whisper White cut at 4" x 10 1/2" folded in half attached to that. It gives me the Whisper White inside I need when using a dark card base. And happy days, Whisper White is one of the card stocks on sale during the Stock Stamp and Save sale.

Two Colors and One Stamp
Today I decided to challenge myself to use only 2 colors, Whisper White and Hello Honey and 1 stamp, For All Things. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be but I like the results. I also used the DSP Paper Stack Moonlight for the piece on top. Actually that one piece of DSP sitting on my desk and a pin I had seen earlier that only used Real Red and White is what got me started. So what do you think?
