Have a honey of a day!

My days have been so busy with so many things.  I have been stampin' just not posting.
So sorry.

Well today I found a card called a spring card over at Dawn's Stamping Studio.  You will have to check her archives and go to January 16th or 17th.  So cute.  I pulled out my Juntos Designer Series Paper available in the SU! Spanish Catalog and tried my hand at one.  It took me several tries to get everything straight and I think I might need a bit more practice.  I've always been more inclined to estimate than measure but I like it just the same.

And a little teaser ...  SU! is having a special in May.  Buy 3 packs of 12x12 paper, textured, Designer Series etc. and get a 4th pack free. You could pick up a pack of this beautiful paper for free!!!    Remember you didn't hear it from me, at least not till May 1st!

Hostess Technique club next Tuesday!

Our monthly club meets next Tuesday and I thought I would give you a small sneak peek of the technique we are doing.  It is called Craft Smoosh.  I love the name.  This is just a small portion of the front of the card.  Sorry for the blurry photo, I am starting to think it is not the camera it is the photographer.

Another guest stamper

Jean N is the new guest stamper and she does beautiful work.  She has a real way with watercoloring.  She says she is going to give me "lessons".  Jean and I walk a mile each day and usually talk about stampin', it makes the time go very fast.  Thanks Jean for sharing your beautiful card with all of us.
It uses Naturals Ivory as the base with layers of Kraft and Baja Breeze.  She used the SU! watercolor pencils to color the bunnies and butterflies and a piece of twill across the back.  I love the extra added touch to the inside.  Keeps one from stampin' the sentiment crooked or otherwise messing up a really nice card.

Easter is coming

Where does my time go?  I think I would have more time to stamp if I had a full time job!!   Here is a pic of two Easter treat bags I made for two special people.  Have 10 more to make by Thursday.  The handle is punched out with the Scallop Oval punch and then used as the layer behind the Easter greeting. I filled a small SU! cello bag with jelly beans tied with coordinating ribbon and it is stinkin' cute if I do say so myself.  Gotta love that Big Shot, cut out all four Top Note Dies at the same time, what a timesaver.
