Tomorrow is the day!

Tomorrow at 2 is when we can order from the new catalog. As if that isn't exciting enough, Stampin' Up! is offering the deal of the week in the month of July! Every week SU! will give us a new deal. Starting July 1st and until July 5th you can get the Scallop Edge Punch on page 187 for only $10.99. Each week I will post the new deal here and on my SU! website. Remember you can also place an order online just click on My Stampin' Up Website link on the right hand side of this blog. To celebrate this fantastic sale I made a card using the new Lots of Bots and the Scallop Edge Punch. Lots of Bots is very reasonably priced at $19.95 and is perfect for boys of any age, especially those interested in robots, computers and tools. I especially love the binary code that is behind the main image. The sentiment on the front is punched out with the new Modern Label Punch, I love the look of this punch a perfect match for the Bots.

Upon further review...

OK, I've been studying the catalog again and I have added to my list. I NEED, the Simply Scrappin' Kit Moments and Milestones. Well actually I need two because I am going to make my kids scrapbooks, this year, as in 2009. Maybe 2010, but I am going to get it done. I love the Moments Milestones Simply Scrappin' Kit it is perfect and my kids were very very cute and they deserve to be in a scrapbook of their very own. Want to join me in my quest? I am starting a scrapbook event which will take place each month. Stay tuned for more details.

I also have another ribbon share starting on July 1st. For $13.99 you get approximately 3 yards of each of the 6 new InColor Polka Dot Grosgrain ribbon on page 182. This is gorgeous ribbon, polka dotty on one side and plain on the other side. Enjoy a taste of each color, and email or call me today. Only 4 spots left.

It's getting closer!

July 1st, 2 p.m. guess what I will be doing? You got it, I will be placing my first order from the new catalog. First on the list, the paper piercing tool, yep, $3.50 worth of paper piercing fun, part of the "Over 1,000 items under $25". Imagine that, over 1,000 items in this catalog under $25. Here are a few of the other things that might be on the list...
page 118 Pendant Park, I love the 2 squirrels on the bench and the tree is to die for.
page 133 Medallion, a new background stamp that my mind has so many ideas for it might burst before it gets to me.
page 158 Bride, Groom and Bridegroom Specialty Paper, I have to just pick one, it's tough.
page 158 Wood sheets, gotta have 'em, don't know why yet.
page 165 Christmas Jingle I have to make the string on page 29 and 29
page 174 Princess Time for my 11 Brownie princesses.
page 195 SU! Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder, I love the Manhattan Folder.
page 209, back cover, Very Thankful, the Ronald McDonald set. I always buy the RMHC set, it is such a great way to give back. For every set SU! sells they give $2 to RMHC and that makes me feel good. I plan to do a class with this set this year so keep your eyes on this blog for a special deal.
Oh, and I also found time to make a card for my favorite Uncle using the new Autumn Days set on page 92. If you don't have a new catalog you better email me and get one. It's a great read.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red I am sure going to miss you. The new In Colors are gorgeous but I sure loved the ones going out. So to honor those wonderful SU! colors I made this card with a new Level 2 Hostess Set, Christmas Punch. I'm a sucker for Christmas sets and this one has a vintage Santa, a snowman tag AND snowflakes. How could I resist? I have seen this fold on several blogs but Jan Tink has directions for a size that will fit in a regular A2 envelope. Thanks Jan!

My scrapbookin' debut

I have been thinking about starting a scrapbook club similar to my monthly Hostess Technique club so I decided to try my hand at scrapbookin'. Saw this layout on SCS and this is my interpretation. Leave a comment or email me if you are interested in joining me for this club on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Nancy's Birthday card

Nancy had a birthday and I used her favorite stamp set (wink, wink) Garden Whimsy. She says she is tired of this set so of course I had to use it, cause I'm rotten that way. I saw a card on SCS using this set and started out to make one just like it but it didn't turn out that way. It truly is very pretty in real life. So Happy Birthday Nancy and many more!!!

little teaser from the new catalog!

Autumn Days is the first set I saw in the catalog that I knew instantly would have to come live at my house. So since I am a demo for SU! and I get all sorts of perks like pre orders, this set has officially taken up residence in my stamp room. I love it. Autumn is my favorite time of year, I love the colors of the Fall leaves even if my allergies don't like whatever it is they put into the air. Here is a peek at the new set and of the new InColors. It uses Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay and Dusty Durango and if you look very closely there is a little Crushed Curry thrown in for good measure.

Organic too.

Suddenly I see possibilities for Organic Outlines everywhere I look. This card is so simple, not something I can usually pull off. I think it was the classical music and the fact that I am HOME ALONE !!! No testosterone in the house at all, at least for a little while. Enjoy.

Organic Outlines so sad to see you go

Organic Outlines is a set I got at Convention last year and I am so sad to see it retire. For this card I used Basic Gray, Kraft and Very Vanilla and the retired Bliss Blue. The reason for the retired Bliss Blue you ask ? I was helping Nancy put the handle on her new Big Shot and her son Ben wanted to see how it worked. Nancy grabbed some paper and we cranked it thru using the Flower Daisies Die #2. Then Ben had to try it and I took home the pieces since I don't have that die and all of my stampin' money is going towards keeping my incredibly talented photographer daughter in school. Well this is the result. This card could be one of my favorite cards of all time and it was a total accident. Let me know what you think and if you want to know how I did the center of the flower just call or email, I'll be glad to share.

Sneak Peek of In Colors

As sad as I will be to see my old favorites retire, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette and the rest I am also very excited to see the new InColors.  I don't have them in my hot little hands quite yet but click HERE to go to Michelle Fisher's blog and see her color comparison.  Did you hear we are getting markers in this year's InColors?

I have been stampin' up a storm but either the cards are for grads I know and have to get out right away or they are for orders that I have to get out right away.  I have also had camera issues so that isn't helping me post any wondrous pictures of anything I have stamped.

Remember the Last Chance list is good until June 30th but the last chance list for accessories is going fast.  Better click on my SU! site and go to shop now or email me pronto!!!
