So sad to see them go.

I love paper but most of all SU! Designer Series Paper.  As much as I am looking forward to getting all new DSP I am also sad with losing some of my favorites.  So today I decided to make some Double Pouch Holders using some of my favorites.  Don't let these Designer Series Papers slip thru your fingers and want to kick yourself  in the pants when they are gone, gone, gone.

New stuff

Finally found 15 minutes to make something with my new InColors and stamps.  I made bookmarks for my club with all of the new colors using the new stamp set Betsy's Blossom, at least I think that is the name.  Anyways, the bookmarks are Midnight Muse and then on the Whisper White I stamped in all of the new InColors.  Look closely at the ribbon on the top it is the new stitched grosgrain in Daffodil Delight, so pretty.  I will be doing some new ribbon shares as soon as the new catalog goes live so check back for that information.

Medallion is going to be missed.

My daughter needed a sympathy card for a co worker and she needed it by tonight so I pulled out my favorite stamp, Medallion and did a little emboss resist on some retired DSP.  I made it square so there is more room inside for everyone to sign and I think it turned out very nice.  I used Not Quite Navy as a layer, a color I haven't used in quite some time.

Don't forget to order your own Medallion Stamp before the end of this month as it is on the retiring list and won't be available after the end of May.

Totally CASED

I needed to make an anniversary card really fast because I am the Queen of Procrastination and I have to have it sent out tonight.   I decided to use Delicate Doilies and set to blog surfing for inspiration.  I found it on Stamping with Sandi's blog and I used her card as the basis for mine.  It uses the Stained Glass Technique embossing in black on vellum cardstock and colored in with markers. The DSP used is from Pocketful of Posies, so many designs so little time.

And one last note, I have seen the new SU! catalog with my own eyes and all I can say is WOW!  I love the current catalog but the upcoming catalog is beyond description.  There are still a few sets I want on the retiring list and then watch out wallet, here I come!
